Q: How do I save my game?
A: After saving the game in the actual game, press ESC for the menu, then select ‘Save Game’ and press Enter.
Q: How do I change my saving Player ID?
A: go to: http://www.gameboyonline.com/saving and change it to something you can remember.
Q: Why my save is gone?
A: My guess is that you saved in game, but didn’t save it in the emulator. First you must save your game, in-game. Then press ‘ESC,’ to get the emulator menu, arrow down to ‘Save Game’ and the press ‘Enter.’ Tada, the game is then saved.
Q: How do I load a saved game?
A: If you saved your game properly, all you need to do is go back to the game page and the save should be automatically loaded.
Q: How do I load a saved game from a different computer, using my ID?
A: go to: http://www.gameboyonline.com/saving enter the same ID you have been using, then load the game you want to continue playing.
Q: Why has my Player ID changed?
A: The Player ID is saved in cookie on your computer. If you do not allow cookies, the browser will not save your Player ID. Go here for easy to follow instructions on how to enable cookies in your browser.
Q: How do I save state?
A: Sorry, the emulator only supports saving in a game where it saves to memory.
Q: Can I play full screen?
A: Yes, while playing a game press: ‘ESC,’ arrow down to ‘Full Screen’ and then press ‘Enter.’ To leave full screen go back to the menu and choose ‘Leave Full Screen.’
Q: Why doesn’t the game load? Or why do I get a black screen?
A: You need to have Java installed on your computer in order to run the game. Go to: Java.com and download it. Or you don’t have Java enabled in your browser. Go to: Java.com’s help page, here you can see easy to follow instructions to enable Java.
Q: Can I use a game pad or joystick to play a game?
A: Yes, if you have game pad or joystick installed you can use: Joy2Key: this is a free program that allows you to map controls to your joystick.
Q: Can I play on my cellphone, I-Pad, Wii, etc?
A: No, Java is required to play the emulated games. Most mobile devices do not support Java.
Q: What do the (U), (UE), (JU) etc mean?
A: They are related to the country where the games were released. J=Japan, U=USA, E=Europe. (For example (JUE): would mean it was released in all 3 countries)
