Mega Man: Dr. Wily’s Revenge is an action platformer that shares many similarites with its NES counterparts. The player, as Mega Man, is able to choose among four stages to complete in whatever order desired. Each stage contains various enemies and obstacles to overcome. Mega Man’s primary weapon is an arm cannon that has unlimited ammunition. Fallen enemies typically drop items that replenish Mega Man’s health or special power ammunition, but may also drop extra lives. At the end of each stage is a boss battle with a Robot Master, and defeating it earns the player its special weapon. The game reuses Robot Masters from the NES versions of the Mega Man series. The initial four stages and bosses (Cut Man, Ice Man, Fire Man, and Elec Man) come from the original Mega Man. Once the player completes these stages and travels through Wily’s Fortress, four more Robot Masters (Quick Man, Bubble Man, Flash Man, and Heat Man), each taken from Mega Man 2, must be fought in order to progress. Although they do not have their own stages, Mega Man earns their special weapons as well. A password system allows the player to return to the game after any or all of the first four stages are complete.

Today’s review is Mega Man- Dr.Wily’s Revenge. This platformer game is hard, but hey,its a good game. You play as Mega Man, and you must fight though four Robot Masters. After that, you must destory four more Robot Masters. In total, that’s eight Robot Masters. If you defeat a Robot Master, you get a special weapon that might help you along the way. This game uses Robot Masters from the first two NES games. There are Cutman,Iceman,Fireman,Elecman,Quickman,Bubbleman,Flashman, and Heatman. For beginners, they might start pulling there hair off, go on a crazy rage, and calm down. But, they might learn from the greatest of them all. Now, about the stages. They are filled with obstacles, and tons of enemies. It’ll be hard at first, but if you keep on trying, you’ll get used to it. Well, Capcom make some good games, but Mega Man is one series that is 100% awesome, and 98% hard. But it’s still awesome. If your a fan of Mega Man, this is for you. See you later.
