Super Mario Land 2 takes place immediately after the original Super Mario Land. It was revealed Wario hired Tatanga to invade Sarasaland and kidnap Princess Daisy in order to distract Mario. While Mario was away in Sarasaland, Wario put an evil spell over Mario’s world: Mario Land, renaming the area Wario Land. The inhabitants are now brainwashed into thinking that Wario is their master, and Mario is their enemy. Wario’s motive behind this sudden attack was to take control over Mario’s castle to have a palace of his own. As the instruction manual states, he is an overgrown manchild who has been jealous of Mario since they were children. To stop Wario, Mario must find the 6 Golden Coins throughout Mario Land to reclaim his castle.

I decided to review Super Mario Land 2 because I decided to not review any more games based on movies because there boring and there all bad. That means I would torture myself with these movie games. So lets get started with this review. It’s a sequel to the first one, but this one is better than that. Now I didn’t know until I read that Wario is the bad guy. Wow, didn’t see that coming. But any way Wario casted some spell or something on Mario Land. The graphics are better than the first and the gameplay is amazing. You can get power ups like the mushroom and the flower. In Super Mario Land 1, the flower doesn’t let you shoot fireballs, instead this blue bouncy ball. This game is filled with awesomeness. See You Later.
